Although they did not finish the regular season against top-notch competition, the Chargers have been playing true must-win games for over a month. Both of these teams are very hot and finished the season incredibly strong, but the week of rest came at a great time for Pittsburgh. QBs Ben Roethlisberger and Philip Rivers were fellow first-round draft picks in the same class, and both should be considered successes. Roethlisberger recently set the NFL record for most wins in a quarterback's first five seasons in the league, while Rivers statistically blew Roethlisberger away this season and has come a long way in a short time. The Steelers were 6-2 at Heinz Field this season, so this could be a difficult road trip, and weather is expected to be an issue. In Week 11, the Steelers edged San Diego 11-10 in a game that went down to the wire, but Pittsburgh outgained the Chargers nearly 2-to-1. This one might be similar to the first.
