The history and hate between these teams is palpable, and there always are memorable moments when the division rivals square off.
The Patriots now confront the reality of a season without QB Tom Brady (knee), and no one knows how the pressure will affect his replacement, QB Matt Cassel. Both teams won their openers against lesser opponents, and this matchup presents an opportunity to create some early separation in the AFC East. The balance of power could shift if the Jets take care of business in a division that has been long dominated by the Patriots.
