| Why To Watch Both teams are off to a good start and both offenses, which have struggled in the past, were productive in Week 1. Carolina's offensive coordinator Jeff Davidson did well in the season opener establishing the run game and, more specifically, his zone-running attack. RBs DeShaun Foster and DeAngelo Williams were productive and seemed to fit the scheme well. QB Jake Delhomme threw three touchdown passes and 201 yards against St. Louis.
The Houston fans finally have something to be excited about with QB Matt Schaub. Schaub's favorite target so far is WR Andre Johnson, who had 142 yards receiving and a touchdown last week in a win over Kansas City. Houston's offensive coordinator Mike Sherman will stretch the field with his receivers and then use Ahman Green in draw plays and power runs underneath. Sherman will have a bigger obstacle this week with one of the best defensive lines in football led by DT Kris Jenkins and DE Julius Peppers.
