Titans looking to rebuild foundation

Tennessee lost too many quality players in the offseason to expect to compete for a playoff spot.

The Titans have big plans for a rapid rebuild, and they have enough good, young talent that they could boomerang back into contention in 2007.

But those who think they'll be a surprisingly competitive team this season haven't looked back at the list of talented players who've moved on: Derrick Mason, Samari Rolle, Andre Dyson, Kevin Carter, Fred Miller, Lance Schulters, Carlos Hall, Robert Holcombe and Joe Nedney, among others.
