Steelers run game seeks direction

ESPN's Stats & Information team develops next-level insights into events and news on a daily basis. ESPN The Magazine's Luke Cyphers sorted through the data for this weekend's Ravens-Steelers AFC Championship contest and highlights some key points.

On the surface, and on the scoreboard, the Ravens' 13-10 defeat of the Titans looked to be just another will-crushing defensive masterpiece from a franchise that produces them at roughly the rate of a Chinese cement factory.

But despite the concrete result, the Ravens showed some dry rot -- the inability to stop a shifty, quick running back. One whose style resembles the Steelers' suddenly hot Willie Parker.
