Even though the Dolphins have been eliminated, we have not seen the last of the Wildcat formation. The Ravens and the Titans (who are playing each other) have been working with this formation during practice. Ravens backup QB Troy Smith could line up in the shotgun while starting QB Joe Flacco lines up out wide. This change-of-pace formation could catch the Titans off guard. The Titans also could line up a backup quarterback in the shotgun: Vince Young. This is potentially devastating because of his athleticism, but it remains to be seen whether the Titans want to tinker with the team chemistry this late in the season. The Titans also have run plays at practice with RB LenDale White in the shotgun and RB Chris Johnson in the slot.
