Chargers' Rivers still not among the elite
Despite the Chargers' playoff success, KC Joyner still isn't ready to anoint Philip Rivers as an elite quarterback.

Last July I wrote an column saying that Philip Rivers was one of the most overrated quarterbacks in the NFL. With the Chargers' playoff success this year, I have received numerous e-mails stating that it is now time for me to admit that I was wrong about Rivers and proclaim him as one of the top signal-callers in the league.
I am not averse to admitting when I am wrong, so I decided to take a closer look at Rivers to see if I missed the boat on him.
