Although Indianapolis and Seattle began resting key performers toward the end of the regular season, and a first-round bye afforded Denver and Chicago the luxury of rehabbing some injured players, every team is banged-up at this point of the season.

All eight teams still alive in the playoffs could be without key contributors this weekend. Yet some injuries are more crippling than others. Our scouts identify eight players players whose status could have a major impact in the divisional matchups.

Seattle CB Marcus Trufant
Expect Trufant to play in this game, but keep an eye on the ailments in Seattle's secondary. Trufant has a lower-back problem that could hinder him this week. CB Kevin Dyson is expected to return from the left ankle injury that kept him out of action for more than a month, and backup CB Kelly Herndon is expected to be available, as well, but none of them looks likely to be 100 percent.
