Skins can't afford to ignore Cooley

For most of the teams playing in the divisional round, production from the tight end position is paramount, writes Jeremy Green.

In some instances last week, superstar players led their teams to victory. In others, though, the big-name guys were taken out of the game by their opponents.

Carolina had a great game plan to slow down Giants RB Tiki Barber and WR Plaxico Burress. New England did an excellent job of loading up on the Jacksonville run game and forcing QB Byron Leftwich to the air. RB Cadillac Williams was pretty much a nonfactor for Tampa Bay. Bengals WR Chad Johnson lost interest after Pittsburgh took him out of the game in the first half.

This is what can happen in the playoffs. Teams rely so heavily on one aspect of their game plan, and their opponents are able to zero in and take away what they like to do best.
