Player News (last updated: November 23, 2009)
News: Roethlisberger (concussion) is expected to start in Week 12 against Baltimore provided he passes his neurological testing, KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh reports.
Spin: The Steelers will have a better idea whether or not Roethlisberger can play Sunday when coach Mike Tomlin speaks at his weekly press conference Tuesday afternoon. With Charlie Batch (wrist) out, Pittsburgh currently has only one quarterback, second-year man Dennis Dixon, on its roster. If Roethlisberger is not cleared to play against the Ravens, then the team might consider a veteran QB like Jeff Garcia.
