Pro Football Weekly is hearing whispers that rookie DE Erasmus James could crack the Vikings' starting lineup.

Rookie DE Erasmus James could become a starter as soon as next week as the Vikings look for a spark off the edge. James has played in certain packages as a pass-rush specialist, but his role will be expanded against Atlanta and QB Michael Vick.
