The NFL is in an era in which more players than ever are filling a number of roles for their teams. With today's economics, the more you can do, the more valuable you are. Let's look at some of these versatile players.

Brian Westbrook, RB, Philadelphia Eagles
Though he entered the NFL as a projected third-down back and return specialist, he has obviously evolved into a lot more than that. Westbrook had 177 carries, 73 receptions and two punt returns for touchdowns in 2004, so the Eagles want him to touch the ball as many times as possible and in as many ways as possible.
