Each Monday, Matt Williamson from Scouts Inc. breaks down a key position group in a division. Last week, he reviewed AFC West safeties. Today, he reviews and ranks the NFC West defensive lines from best to worst.

1. Arizona Cardinals

Ranking these four defensive lines is not an easy task, because there isn't much difference among them. Overall, I think the defensive lines in the NFC West are an underrated crew. I am reluctant to put the Cardinals on top, because they underperformed up front -- and just about everywhere else -- on the field in 2010. But this defense was often put into terrible situations and spent a lot of time on the field because the Arizona offense was inept.
