Scouts Buzz: Bears' antidote to Vick
Chicago's fast, physical and intimidated Eagles' skill players; behind the Bengals' mess

After watching the Week 12 matchups, Scouts Inc. shares these key observations:
1. The Chicago Bears have one of the best defenses in the league, but they are also the ideal group of players and scheme to face the Philadelphia Eagles. As they demonstrated in their victory Sunday, the Bears are very physical, whereas the Eagles' skill position players are not. The Bears' defense was able to harass Michael Vick with only four pass-rushers. Led by Julius Peppers, they accomplished this well.
Chicago also is an exceptional tackling defense and is terrific at causing turnovers. These are great traits to have against any offense, but with all the Eagles' after-the-catch ability and Vick's running prowess, it was extra-important against the Eagles.
