Randy Moss is no substitute for Britt
Malcontent doesn't compare with Titans' injured receiver
The Titans' addition of Randy Moss gives them a ready-made replacement for Kenny Britt, who appears set to miss several games with a hamstring injury. At 6-foot-4, 210 pounds, Moss is a similar player in stature to Britt, who is 6-3, 218. Both are big-play receivers with elite leaping ability that allows them to jump over smaller cornerbacks and make plays downfield. Physically and stylistically, they are similar players, and the decision to replace Britt with Moss makes a lot of sense.
What about their performance, though? Has Moss performed at a similar level to Britt this year? Historically? What role does Britt play in the Titans' offense, and can Moss fit into that spot in the lineup? And what is the actual impact Moss will have on the Titans? Let's look at the numbers and find out.
