Plugging the holes: NFC North
Three of the four teams here need big-time secondary help
How this works: Back on Feb. 15, Ned Macey of Football Outsiders penned this piece on pre-draft needs of NFC North squads. With the draft done -- check Mel Kiper Jr.'s grades here and Todd McShay's grades here -- FBO revisits the NFC North.
Chicago Bears: Wide receiver
The Bears had little opportunity to remake their team in the draft. Their first-round pick was sent to the Denver Broncos to acquire Jay Cutler, and their second-round pick was sent to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the late Gaines Adams. Here's the problem, though: They used none of their late-round picks to add a weapon to help Cutler rebound from his horrible first season in Chicago.
After the pay wall: more on the Bears' needs, plus the Lions, Packers and Vikings. We'll give you a hint: The secondaries in this division are not, how you say, elite. For full deail with unique FBO metrics, you must be an ESPN Insider.
