When it comes to QB success, reps with the first team make all the difference
Their careers might not have turned out the way each of their respective organizations intended after selecting them in the 2006 NFL Draft, but Matt Leinart and Vince Young each put on creditable performances in the Titans' thrilling 20-17 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
Both Young (in his five starts since returning to the lineup) and Leinart (in his first start of the season) looked better on Sunday than they ever did as injury replacements or in mop-up work during their periods on the bench. The reason is simple: practice.
