In their rookie seasons, quarterbacks Joe Flacco of the Ravens and Matt Ryan of the Falcons more or less took the NFL by storm. They far exceeded expectations of rookie starters and, more important, changed the direction of the franchises that drafted them. A year has passed since then, and another crop of rookie quarterbacks has emerged. Of course, this new group is often compared -- unjustly -- to Flacco and Ryan.
