Quarterback needs on opposite coasts top list of remaining holes
In the salary-cap era, no team can be flawless. This truth usually manifests itself in the way of subpar depth, when seemingly Super Bowl-bound teams like Dallas end up having their season crushed by Brad Johnson and his ilk.
Other teams have significantly below-average players in their starting lineup. Those holes are easier to recognize, but harder to fill; it's much easier for the Cowboys to trade Anthony Henry for Jon Kitna than it is for the Lions to convince Albert Haynesworth and Julius Peppers to come solve their pass-rush issues. We've found ten organizations that failed to recognize or otherwise fill their glaring holes with either a starting-caliber free agent or a prominent draft pick this offseason.
