Five things each NFC North team needs

The NFC North had a Super Bowl runner-up in 2006 and the No. 2 seed in the postseason in 2007, but what does each team need to improve on for 2008? Scouts Inc. runs down five glaring needs per team, because it's never too early to worry about next year.

Chicago Bears

Quarterback -- The Bears' most pressing issue is deciding who will lead the franchise at the quarterback position. Whether to choose an aging 10-year veteran in Brian Griese, a virtually unknown quantity in the inexperienced Kyle Orton or the inconsistent gunslinger Rex Grossman puts coach Lovie Smith and the Bears' front office in a tough spot. For this franchise to move forward it has to stabilize the quarterback situation because Chicago has been uncertain at this most important position for some time now.
