New wave of pass rushers bringing the heat
Jared Allen and Osi Umenyiora are among a half-dozen pass rushers who have made names for themselves in 2005.

The names we've all come to expect to see among the sacks leaders in the NFL are still there, as usual.
Michael Strahan, Simeon Rice and Julius Peppers are among the top sackers in the NFC while Dwight Freeney and Jason Taylor rank near the AFC leaders.
However, look a little closer at the leaders in QB takedowns for both conferences and you may see names you're not as familiar with -- players who have vaulted over the aforementioned Pro Bowlers.
