Baltimore -- WR Clarence Moore
Why would the third wide receiver on the NFL's second worst pass offense (144.5 pass yds/game) be a potential key player in 2005? Well, this is not your father's Ravens. With two new starting WRs (free agent acquisition Derrick Mason and rookie Mark Clayton), and a healthy Todd Heap at TE, QB Kyle Boller has run out of excuses.
Moore was a pleasant surprise in 2004 as a rookie fifth-round pick. His combination of size (6-foot-6) and leaping ability makes him a great third down and red zone target. And at 211 pounds, he has actually gotten stronger in the offseason. He had four red zone TD catches in 2004 without a lot of weapons around him. Now with two quality WRs and a veteran pass catching TE, he will see almost exclusive single man-to-man coverage from nickel corners.
