Much has been made of quarterback change around the league in 2006. And with five teams currently starting players who had never attempted a regular-season pass until this season, and a sixth perhaps coming, if the Denver Broncos bench Jake Plummer for first-rounder Jay Cutler, the attention is justifiable.

In truth, though, the quarterback carousel isn't spinning nearly as out of control as it's perceived to be.
