Culpepper's injury raises many questions
Daunte Culpepper's name was starting to come up in trade rumors. That won't happen now, but there are still questions surrounding his future in Minnesota.

The injury suffered by Daunte Culpepper last Sunday, one in which the Minnesota Vikings star quarterback tore three ligaments in his right knee, certainly has wide-reaching implications. And some of them, in fact, stretch beyond the Vikings organization. Not only did the injury shatter any lingering hopes Minnesota players still harbored for maybe resurrecting this shipwreck of a season, but, with Culpepper now confronted by a rehabilitation schedule some feel could last a full year and perhaps even more, it likely scuttled quiet plans by at least two other franchises to inquire about his availability in an offseason trade.
