Brady master at buying time
Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are among the quarterbacks with the best pocket presence in the NFL.

When San Francisco selected Joe Montana in the third round of the 1979 draft, there were questions about his arm strength, as well as his ability to stay healthy. Today, he is viewed as arguably the best quarterback to ever play the game. Montana led the 49ers to four Super Bowl wins, was selected to eight Pro Bowls and threw for over 40,000 yards during his career. He also orchestrated 31 fourth-quarter comeback wins.
Montana had a great grasp of the offense and read defenses so well that he didn't need to make multiple defenders miss, or rifle his throws into tight spots to be productive. He knew where pressure was coming from and where he had favorable matchups.
