Addai is the X-factor and will keep Pats' offense off the field

Addai is quickly becoming one of the most-feared RBs in the NFL and he is the X-factor against New England's defense, writes Jeremy Green.

I am sure the word key player or X-factor will be thrown around often as we work our way towards the big showdown in Indianapolis this weekend. On the defensive side of the ball the Colts X-factor is normally going to be safety Bob Sanders. However, on the offensive side of the ball the Colts have many different weapons that can come up big on any given weekend.

This week that player has to be RB Joseph Addai. I went into the film room this week and broke down Addai on tape, and this young RB is one of the most-impressive players in the NFL at his position. In terms of his vision, smoothness through the hole and his ability to cut-back with little wasted motion, Addai is quickly becoming one of the most-feared runners in the NFL.
