After a busy offseason, NFL teams will begin to take shape in training camp. It is the hope of every general manager to create as much competition as possible and to develop solid depth on both sides of the ball.
The depth will come from players competing for starting spots. Some backups will play key roles, but becoming a starter in the NFL is what every player thinks about during camp. A starter is on the field when the game is on the line.
Many battles will be waged this summer. Some will have a significant impact on how a team begins the season. Let's check in on some potentially intriguing camp battles around the league.
