Personnel needs

DT, S, CB, WR, OT

Major need: Carolina's secondary could use some star power, but defensive tackle is what the Panthers most need to address, which might set up well with this draft class. Right now, they have bigger space-eating defensive tackles -- including Dwan Edwards, whom they retained -- but no one who consistently beats single blocks or makes plays.
