Defensive tackle class taking a hit
Top of the board holds steady, and no elite interior defensive linemen are emerging
The top five prospects remain the same in this week's rankings update, but there's still plenty to talk about.
First, the defensive tackle class continues to be very underwhelming. A big-name ACC tackle has tumbled 20 spots, and although an emerging Big Ten tackle continues to rise, it looks as though no elite prospect will emerge from the group.
Elsewhere, a highly productive inside linebacker is back in the top 10, a breakout underclassman running back is now inside the top 15 and a versatile, athletic SEC defensive lineman is back in the rankings after a brief hiatus.
Here's how the top 32 looks at this point. As always, eligible underclassmen are noted with an asterisk.
