2011 NFL draft: Top 5 draft-eligibles
These are the top five draft-eligible players across all position groups for 2011
The college season isn't too far away now. Players are already working out on campuses and will officially assemble in early August, not quite six weeks away. So it's time, believe it or not, to start considering draft standing.
The lists below will show you the top five players at each position among all draft-elligible players. You can use it as a very early road map for the draft, although we know much will change as the games begin.
You've already heard some of the main names to keep track of, for sure -- Jake Locker, Andrew Luck, Ryan Mallett, Anthony Castonzo, Marcell Dareus, Adrian Clayborn, etc. -- but these lists offer a look at position depth, as well.
(Asterisk denotes underclassmen.)
Well, here we go. Onward and upward to April 2011. To get the full value at each position, you must be an ESPN Insider.
