2011 Draft: Junior Top 5s
Terrelle Pryor is among these players aiming to get on the list of Top 5s overall
I want to be clear on what these rankings are, because they are different from the way I've done things in the past. Last week I released my Top 5s at each position group. Those are all players who are eligible for the draft. In past years, I'd separate seniors and juniors, but given that guys ranked in the top five at their position enter the draft at such a high rate, it doesn't make much sense to keep them divided.
So this ranking is for the top juniors at each position beyond the top guys among all draft-eligible players. You could see a player like Blaine Gabbert jump to the other list, for example. So these are guys to keep an eye on for this year, and possibly next, as you would expect that many could be returning to school.
