Scouting Florida State S Myron Rolle
A constantly-updated progress report on Rolle from the 2010 Senior Bowl.
Editor's note: Practice notes are updated daily and a final report will be completed on Friday.
There's no telling what kind of football shape Rolle is in after a year away from the game while studying at Oxford University on a Rhodes Scholarship. He will likely need a day or two to shake off the rust but he needs to round into shape by Wednesday's practice.
The 223-pounder has never been great in man-to-man coverage and his ball skills are in question, so we will be studying him closely in both areas. Finally, teams want to know if Rolle is serious about playing football for the long term. The grilling will begin at the Senior Bowl and intensify at next month's scouting combine.
Note: Grades are on a scale of 1-5, with 1 being the best.
