Williams projects as a stout two-gap run defender who can protect linebackers by occupying multiple blockers at the line of scrimmage. It's important that he consistently establish position and hold his ground working against interior offensive linemen during team and run periods as well as one-on-one run drills.

Williams can help himself by collapsing the pocket during team periods and one-on-one pass rush drills. We will also scrutinize his body type at the weigh-in on Monday and keep a close eye on his stamina during practice because he's had problems keeping his weight down in the past.
