The college game is littered with versatile tight end prospects who can contribute in a multitude of ways. Those who play in spread offenses bring a pass-catching dimension that traditional tight ends have not always possessed, but even those top prospects who play in pro-style offenses are set to become weapons in the passing game at the next level. Below is Scouts Inc.'s ranking of the top five tight ends in college football right now. Some are poised to enter the NFL in 2010 and others have college eligibility remaining, but all have the skills to live up to the standards set by today's top NFL tight ends.
