Mel's Matchups: Week 4

Clemson vs. TCU will feature pro-caliber trench warfare

There were some good matchups earlier in the season, but in a lot of games you simply couldn't evaluate guys. Take a guy like Florida's Carlos Dunlap. He starts the season against Charleston Southern and Troy, and then last week he faces a Tennessee team with a struggling passing game -- and one that was really reluctant to throw. He has dropped slightly on my board, but mostly because others have had better competition and played well, like Ndamukong Suh, who leapfrogged Dunlap this week on my Big Board.

That said, there are some great matchups this week with conference games starting up -- and even with some decent out-of-conference games.
