Mock Draft: The Experts' Consensus

Insider is all about projection and analysis. It's asking: What do we know from current stats, trends and historical analysis that can paint a clearer picture of what we're bound to see? Then there's the NFL draft, an event that relies on subjective concepts of work ethic, technical aspects like 40-times and a large dose of game film, which involves neither. It's impossibly hard to predict, but there are ways to assign value.

Here, as we eagerly await our own Mel Kiper's latest mock draft, we combined experts from across the media landscape to try and determine where people are valuing the prospects: it doesn't give an outright assessment of where a player will land, but it lets you know what the draft might look like if a consensus of value took hold.

Our experts for this round are our own Todd McShay, Don Banks from Sports Illustrated, Rob Rang from NFLDraftScout.com (CBS), and Pete Fiutak of FOX. Here, even the Zogby polls of this world have their say. We're simply giving you the conclusions.
