Davis still a first-rounder
Worries about Illinois cornerback Vontae Davis' work ethic have caused him to slip to the bottom half of the first round. Although teams certainly can't ignore this substantial character flaw, it is extremely hard to find corners with Davis' rare natural ability and upside.
Much like with Florida wide receiver Percy Harvin, we believe Davis' elite skills will be enough to make him a first-round pick despite his character concerns. Possible landing spots include New England at No. 23, Miami at No. 25 and Baltimore at No. 26.
