Top draft-eligible underclassmen face tough NFL decisions
Todd McShay's latest Draft Buzz breaks down the top five draft-eligible quarterbacks, including Oklahoma's Sam Bradford and USC's Mark Sanchez.
Bradford can make all the NFL throws but he lacks elite arm strength and he could use another year in college to develop physically. There's also concern regarding his adjustment from a shotgun-heavy offense at Oklahoma to playing primarily under center in the NFL. However, Bradford, a redshirt sophomore, is the most cerebral of the top three prospects and appears to be the most accurate passer as well. In my book, those are the two most important characteristics in evaluating a college quarterback's NFL potential, which is why Bradford is at the top of Scouts Inc.'s list.
