It is never too late to make an impression on NFL scouts, and that's good news for a handful of senior wide receivers looking to cash in on breakout campaigns in 2008.
In reality, significantly boosting one's draft stock as a senior is an unusual trend. Sure, it's tough to make an immediate impact as a college freshman but talent typically rises to the top shortly thereafter. And it's not as if the players listed below all have something in common. All bring something unique to the table.
Regardless, these five senior wideouts have saved their best for last and are making the most of their final year on the college stage:
