Two weeks ago, we examined five under-the-radar seniors -- Texas WR Quan Cosby, USC OLB Clay Matthews, Arizona QB Willie Tuitama, Cincinnati WR Marshwan Gilyard and Michigan State S Otis Wiley -- who shot out of the gates quickly and raised their draft profiles in the process.

For every positive there is a negative, of course, and this week, we take a look at five seniors who have stumbled out of the blocks and need to pick up the pace heading into Week 5.

1. Clemson QB Cullen Harper
After tossing 27 touchdown passes and only six interceptions as a first-year starter in 2007, Harper already has thrown four interceptions to just three touchdowns in four games this season. In addition to his questionable decisions under pressure, his elongated release is increasingly worrisome each time we study him on tape. Harper needs to make better overall reads and far fewer critical errors from this point on to remain a first-day consideration.
