Pro Bowl snubs can lose focus

Well, the votes are in and the names have been announced. Pro Bowl rosters are set. It's a great day around many NFL locker rooms as we prepare for the two most critical weekends of the regular season. All is well, right? Well, not so fast.
A key ingredient that may be reflected on the field this weekend is the way teammates, coaches and front offices handle the bruised egos and expectations of the players who were met with Pro Bowl disappointment. It may sound childish, but believe me, it's an issue around the league. This is a big deal for players whose egos have been bruised and whose pockets may be lighter than expected.
