Dual homes for Saints a bad idea

What the heck is going on with the NFL and the New Orleans Saints? I can't believe what the NFL has done to the Saints. I'm really anxious for an explanation about the scheduling of the team's home games in Baton Rouge and San Antonio.

Why is this already displaced team being forced to play home games at two different venues? Hasn't the entire Saints' organization been put through hell already due to Hurricane Katrina and the devastation it caused to the great city of New Orleans?

Now, after the players have had to uproot their families and deal with all that entails, they are told they don't have a permanent home for the season. That makes no sense whatsoever to me. This is supposed to be a league that cares about its players, but I don't see the caring in forcing these guys to travel all over when they need a definite place to play this season.
