Ferguson, Winston top weak group
Virginia's D'Brickashaw Ferguson and Miami's Eric Winston may be the only OLs chosen in the first round.
Ferguson missed two full games because of a knee injury, but returned to action versus Florida State and turned in a decent performance versus DE Kamerion Wimbley, who finished with two sacks, but only one of which came against Ferguson.
Incidentally, Wimbley now has an ACC-best seven sacks on the season. Ferguson will need to continue to improve his range of motion in order to ease concerns regarding the knee injury. However, the 6-foot-6, 298-pound senior has a rare blend of size potential, mobility and technique, and projects as a potential top-five selection in the 2006 draft.
