Bush, Maroney ahead of the pack
Should they elect to leave school, Reggie Bush and Laurence Maroney would be the top RBs in the 2006 class.
Should he elect to leave school after this season, USC's Reggie Bush would be the highest-rated running back in the 2006 class. In fact, Bush could emerge as the top overall pick. At 6-foot, 200 pounds, though, Bush will need to add some bulk to his frame in order to carry a full load at the NFL level.
He also needs to prove he's capable of handling a heavy load as the No. 1 running back for the Trojans. Regardless, Bush is the most dynamic athlete in college football today, and his versatility puts him in a class of his own in terms of NFL potential.
