Ten big roster bonus decisions

Just as free agency is creeping closer, so are some big financial decisions that teams have to make.

A handful of players have significant roster bonuses that teams must make decisions on in the coming days. Perhaps the two most notable are New York Jets running back Thomas Jones -- who has a $3 million roster bonus that must be paid by March 9 -- and Cleveland Browns quarterback Derek Anderson, who has a $2 million roster bonus that must be paid by March 19.

Each team is debating whether its player is worth it. But if the teams decide they are not, then they will meet the same fate that former San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson and former Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook met this week.
