Ryan (Naples, Fla.) | With the Carolina Panthers in dire straits and Julius Peppers on his way out, do you think Carolina will contemplate trading DeAngelo Williams for some tools to rebuild? Could be, Ryan. Makes some sense. But without a big-time quarterback, the identity of this team is now tied up in its two backs. The Panthers win and lose with Williams and Jonathan Stewart. Trading Williams would plug up a hole in one area but leave a big hole in another. My belief is that, when next season kicks off, Williams will be in Carolina -- and Peppers won't.
