Adam Schefter answers readers' questions nearly every day in his blog. On Thursday, he's answering questions about the upstart New York Jets, who are looking to spoil the Indianapolis Colts' run at another Super Bowl. Have a query of your own? Submit it here.
Q: Rex Ryan is a great coach, but the Jets finished with the same record (9-7) as last season under Eric Mangini. Yeah, they missed the playoffs, but so did the 11-5 Patriots. How much of Ryan's success can you attribute to just getting lucky at the end of the season? If the Jets missed the playoffs again this year, would we have a very different view of him?
