There's still no final decision about whether Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis will keep or fire head coach Tom Cable. But those within the Raiders organization insist that Davis is keeping quarterback JaMarcus Russell. Davis believes Russell has too much talent to cut him loose, even if it means choosing him over Cable.

Adam Schefter
Adam Schefter joined ESPN in August 2009 as a football reporter and analyst. In his role with the network, he is a regular contributor to ESPN.com and ESPN Insider. The married father of two is a graduate of both the University of Michigan and the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. He resides in New York.
