Pittsburgh still might turn it around, and the defending world champions never can be, nor should be, discounted. But there already is one difference between this season's and last season's Steelers.

The 2008 Steelers lost four games -- and followed up each of those losses with a victory. After losing last season to the Eagles, Pittsburgh beat the Ravens 23-20 the following week. After losing to the Giants, Pittsburgh beat the Redskins 23-6 the following week. After losing to the Colts, Pittsburgh beat the Chargers 11-10 the following week. And after losing last season to the Titans, Pittsburgh beat the Browns 31-0 the following week.

This season's Steelers lost to the Bears in Week 2 -- and followed it up with a loss to the Bengals on Sunday. Not a good sign, but not an absolute one. It's up to this season's Pittsburgh team to do things differently.
