Stanford QB Andrew Luck has generated plenty of buzz over the past two seasons, and even casual fans who've seen him play know the hype is justified. His physical tools, mental capacity and leadership ability are readily apparent, and there's no question he is the best quarterback prospect to come along in the last several years.

But what about the rest of the 2012 quarterback class? Luck is clearly the No. 1 player on the board, but there are some other intriguing signal-callers eligible for the draft. Here's how we break down the rest of the top five in this year's quarterback crop, as well as a sleeper prospect who could make some noise as the draft process unfolds (draft-eligible underclassmen are noted with an asterisk):
